Alabama
The first time I actually visited Alabama was back in 2001 - I had just purchased a vehicle over the internet and had to go to Tuscaloosa to pick it up. While driving back home, I came across a road sign for the Robert Trent Jones Trail.  If your not into golf, you've probably not heard of Robert Trent Jones, one of America's great golf course architects. To keep the story short, in his Magnum Opus farwell, Jones designed a series of golf courses that are scattered across the state, promoting tourism by luring avid golfers from around the country and the world.

Among the most beautiful courses I've ever played.
