    I was at work on Thursday, June 21, 2001, when Jim called asking if I had plans for the weekend. "Yes," I responded, "but I could change them - what did you have in mind?"
    "Alaska."
    I told my golfing partner in the next office I had a better offer. With some quick last minute planning, we were to leave Atlanta early Friday evening and arrive in Anchorage, Alaska at 11:30 PM (Alaska Time - a four hour difference from Eastern Time).

Like many of our trips, we would have a minimal amount of time at our destination, but we are both flexible enough to get the maximum out of our limited time.
