Natural Bridge
Yoho National Park

The western most point on our trip was Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park, British Columbia.
There’s really not much mystery where they got the name, Natural Bridge.  The Yoho River has actually carved out a miniature tunnel as it flows through this area.  In this part of the river, the current is quite strong and there is a vertical drop of about twenty feet as the water passes through the Natural Bridge.  While access is restricted for safety reasons, it is possible to walk from one side of the river to the other across the Natural Bridge that nature has carved out.

At Natural Bridge, there is an unnatural bridge (man made) which you can take to get from one side of the river to the other.  Elaine took this picture of me from the unnatural bridge, taking a picture of the Natural Bridge.  Got it?  Also, you can again notice the milky blue color of the glacially fed Yoho River.
