Around Lake Louise

The next group of photos are obviously of Lake Louise.  They were taken from our room in the early morning when the waters were calm.  In the photo to the left, you can see the beginning of a pathway which winds its way around the north side of Lake Louise and then continues back into the wilderness.  You can also begin to get an idea of the size of Upper Victoria Glacier.
The lower left picture of Lake Louise was taken early in the morning, about 5:30 a.m.  You have to want the picture bad if you’re willing to get up that early.  The sun was just coming over the mountain horizon to our east and is illuminating the mountain wall which separates the Upper and Lower Victoria Glaciers.

A little later, the early morning colors have faded, but there is a greater clarity of the reflection in the lake, as seen in the photo to the right.  Is the picture upside right or upside down?  Only the pine tree on the right gives it away.
