Northern
California

June 2007

California is difficult to describe because there are so many variations of climate and topography. We were visiting Northern California, but as we crossed the state line, driving south on the Pacific Coast Highway, we found that in addition to the giant trees - the Redwoods and Sequoia - the coastline still offered some breathtaking sights.

All of these photos were taken comfortably parked on the edge of the Pacific Coast Highway, 101.
