Colorado-Vail to Rocky Mountain National Park & Estes Park

It's Sunday, and today our travels take us from Vail along Interstate 70 to the old mining town of Georgetown then north on Colorado 40, to another crossing of the Continental Divide at Berthoud Pass at 11,315 feet above sea level.  Continuing north to Granby and Colorado 34, we enter Rocky Mountain National Park at Grand Lake.  Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous road in the United States, crosses the Continental Divide and reaches a height of 12,183 at the Alpine Center in the park.  Continuing on Trail Ridge Road we find River Song Bed and Breakfast in Estes Park, adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park for our final three nights in Colorado.
