Scotland
Leven

July, 2001

I was driving down one of those narrow country roads between Cupar and Leven, when I came across this field.  The color provided such a remarkable contrast to the surrounding green grasses and trees, even though it was overcast at the time.
The town park in the town of Leven is yet another example of the well manicured lawns and gardens the exist throughout Scotland and England.  I wanted to get some similar pictures of the park in Cupar, but time just didn't allow for it.
This particular day was rainy and overcast, and I can only imagine how spectacular these gardens might have looked on a bright, sunny day.  As it was, it was still a pleasure to walk around the grounds and admire the view.
