After a delightful visit, for the second
time in my life, I walked the Craw Road - the place where my father
and grandfathers for 400 years had walked. As a child, every
family reunion included tales of the Craw Road - to me, it's a special
place. In July 2002, Jim joined me in Lochwinnoch- we stood on the ground where his grandfather's house once stood, touched the house where his great great grandmother lived, and like his father and grandfathers, walked the Craw Road. |

Among the things I wanted to do on this trip was to play golf at the home of golf: St. Andrews. My best chance to do that would be to get on the singles list at 7AM, which in turn, meant I had to stay near St. Andrews. Hence, my time in Lochwinnoch was drawing to a close. |

I had a bar meal at the Brown Bull in Lochwinnoch and then it was off to St. Andrews. | ![]() |
| It was now 7PM Sunday
evening and I was headed east towards Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland,
then north across the Firth of Forth and once again east to St. Andrews.
It was time for one last look at Lochwinnoch. Oh, we're no awa tae bide awa. |
