Sites of London

Wesminster Abbey
There is a reason The Big Bus Company has three routes and more than 60 stops. We saw a lot in a single day but didn't even come close to seeing all there was to see - just on the tour. And while we got to see the sights, we didn't spend much time at any of them. London is clearly a place where you could spend a lot of time whatever your interests. If you visit there, I hope your weather was as enjoyable as ours was - a perfect day!

The Tower of Big Ben

Late in the afternoon, we caught a return train back to Gatwick, picked up our car out of the long term lot, and were on our way again. The next day, I wanted to visit Shipdham, England and we used the remaining time of the current day to get a bit closer, driving from London, Gatwick Airport to Cambridge where we had dinner and a night's rest in a local bed and breakfast. The next morning, it was on to Shipdham in East Anglia.
