English Countryside

English countryside pasture - near Leeds
We left Shipdham in eastern England and we were now on a longer journey up to Lochwinnoch, Scotland. Along the way, we traveled off the beaten path through the rolling countryside of East Anglia and through the equally pleasant midlands of England.

Entering a small English town in the midlands.

I advised against driving in London, but do take the time to tour the English and Scottish countryside. It's simply delightful.

Another view of the pastoral English countryside.
