Maid
Chuck with two bottles of Vermont Maid Syrup, North Windham, Maine		 Now, I'm sure this isn't one story you planned on hearing, but here it goes.  I really enjoy living in Florida, but one of the things I miss from the north is Vermont Maid syrup.  When visiting our daughter, when she was living in Virginia,  I would pick up as many bottles of Vermont Maid as I could.  Well, before leaving for Maine and New Hampshire, Elaine looked up on the Internet, where we could buy Vermont Maid.
She found a food store chain, Shaw's, that carried Vermont Maid.  So, on Friday morning shortly after we began our drive from Portland to northern New Hampshire, I spotted a Shaw's in the town of North Windham, Maine.  We stopped in, went to the syrup aisle, and asked a clerk if they had an unopened case, which they didn't.  So, there on the shelf were 18 bottles of Vermont Maid.  We got a box, packed them in, and the rest is history.  Our day was off to a great start.
