Southern Maine		 The lake at Naples, Maine We continued our drive through southern Maine, heading toward New Hampshire.  We were clearly way from the rocky coast line and into rolling farm country that gradually turned into a land of pristine lakes and mountains.
Maine mountain and lakeAs we criss-crossed southern Maine, we continued to come upon lakes, woods, and mountains.  This particular photo shows a ski resort carved in the side of the wooded mountain.
