Glacier July 2002 |
![]() Welcome back to Montana |
After an always enjoyable time in Canada, we were again heading south, back into Glacier National Park, Montana. This time we would be visiting the section of Glacier known as "Many Glacier" which is about 15 miles north of our hotel in St. Mary. |

Many Glacier is a bit more isolated and doesn't receive the volume of traffic as Going to the Sun Road. |

| If a picture is worth 1,000 words, I would be writing a rather long narrative to describe these beautiful scenes. There is incredible biological and geographic diversity in Glacier National Park, from alpine meadows, to towering mountains, deep valleys, and mountain lakes. Perhaps that is why we found it so appealing. We were certainly pleased with our stay - it was among our favorite trips. Out of the way, a little harder to get to than some of the other more familiar National Parks, but the rewards are worth it. |
