This is a little different welcome to one of our travel web sites.  In this case, we've been to Nevada multiple times, so as you navigate through the web site, you'll find that Lake Tahoe is split between Nevada and California, and while we offer a little information on Reno and Lake Tahoe, the majority of our time in and around Lake Tahoe, was on the California side - but you can click on California and pursue Lake Tahoe from there. For better or worse, there's lots of information on Las Vegas - hope you enjoy.
Reno & Lake Tahoe Nevada

On September 22, 1999, we left Jacksonville and after a long layover in Dallas, flew to Reno.  It was late when we arrived and while we walked the local streets briefly, we quickly used our $40 (internet bid) hotel room.  The next morning when we looked out the window, we saw the other wing of the hotel reflecting downtown Reno, Nevada and the surrounding mountains.
