U.S. Virgin Islands  Marriott Beach Resort

About 1600 miles and 3 hours later, we were on our approach to St. Thomas.  Our flight took us directly into the airport.  After broad expanses of the Atlantic Ocean and a couple of small islands, the western end of St. Thomas became visible outside our window.  We quickly picked up our rental car and were on the way to our hotel.

We had two or three hotel recommendations - and of those, we chose the Marriott Beach Resort on St. Thomas.

We were quite pleased throughout our stay.  Beyond the ambiance, the staff was extremely friendly and polite.

It's always a bit strange that after you see these beautiful sites for a few days, they lose the sense of wonder, but viewing these beautful tropical scenes are just a delight.
