Chile

Santiago

We took a taxi from the airport, some 25 miles into town.  The fare was $20, U.S., which I didn't think was too bad, considering the distance, and it was for two people.  We came through a lot of light industrial and poverty infested areas before we reached the outskirts of Santiago proper.  I need to be careful not to judge too harshly.  If one were to look not far from the White House, poverty infested areas would be plentiful.
